BUILDING LEADERS, SHARING LIFE
The essence of Better Together can be found in our Pastor Huddles. We gather pastors of all roles—senior, executive, youth, and more—in small, supportive groups across the city. These huddles create a safe space for leaders to share their burdens, receive encouragement, and discuss the challenges they might hesitate to voice elsewhere.
WHAT ARE HUDDLES
Joining a Pastor’s Huddle offers unique benefits that speak to both the heart and the practical needs of pastoral leaders. Here are a few reasons to connect:
- Safe Space for Vulnerability: Pastors often face unique challenges they might not feel comfortable sharing with their congregations or even their families. Huddles provide a safe, judgment-free environment where they can openly share struggles and seek encouragement.
- Mutual Support and Encouragement: Ministry can be isolating, and having a group of peers who truly understand the journey can be invaluable. Huddles offer a sense of community where leaders can be uplifted by those who know the challenges firsthand.
- Shared Wisdom and Insights: Every pastor brings different experiences and perspectives, and Huddles are a place to gain practical advice, learn from others, and share wisdom that might help in handling ministry’s many challenges.
- Spiritual Renewal: Huddles are a place to be poured into—spiritually, emotionally, and mentally. Pastors often give so much to others, and these groups offer a chance for them to refocus, grow, and receive encouragement to finish strong in their calling.
Accountability and Growth: Huddles foster accountability, helping leaders stay grounded and aligned with their purpose. The regular check-ins provide a gentle accountability structure, motivating pastors to grow both personally and professionally.
- Navigating Cultural Challenges Together: The cultural landscape is constantly shifting, and pastors often have to address complex societal issues. Huddles allow leaders to discuss these challenges with others, providing fresh insights on handling cultural and community issues within their ministries.
- Connection and Belonging: Huddles remind pastors that they are not alone. By building relationships with others in similar roles, they can feel a renewed sense of belonging and purpose.
Joining a Pastor’s Huddle is about finding strength in community, learning from shared experiences, and being reminded that, in leadership, you don’t have to walk alone.
